University of Georgia recruitment
Everything below was read off University of Georgia’s own published pages on September 1, 2026. Panhellenic pages roll over to the next cycle shortly after Bid Day, and requirements differ by campus and by chapter, so confirm anything you are about to act on with your own Panhellenic office.
Fees
The 2025 cycle fee published in the official PDF was $270 and a fee waiver existed. The 2026 amount could not be located — confirm before registering.
Academic requirement
No Panhellenic-wide minimum GPA was published at the council level.
What they accept
Georgia does not accept resumes, transcripts or headshots at the council level. Do not spend money on a printed packet here without checking what your chapters actually want.
Rounds
Round 1 → Round 2 → Round 3 → Preference → Bid Day
Timeline
- Confirm what Georgia accepts (Now) — The council does not take resumes, transcripts or headshots. This is the single most expensive thing to get wrong here.
- Registration opens (Spring) — Opens in spring through the Panhellenic registration system.
- Registration closes (Mid-July) — The 2026 cycle closed July 14. Confirm the current year's date.
- Recommendation letters (Spring–summer) — Optional at the council level. Individual chapters may still welcome them.
- Early move-in (Early August) — Recruitment participants arrive before the rest of campus.
- Recruitment rounds (Mid-August) — Numbered rounds ending with Preference. The 2025 cycle ran August 9–17; 2026 dates were not independently verified.
- Sign the MRABA (After Preference) — Required by the National Panhellenic Conference after Preference.
- Bid Day (Mid-August) — Invitations are issued by the chapters and the council.
